I’ll have the birthday list up tomorrow. In the meanwhile, Jax and I ran an errand to Macy’s last night and surveyed some trees down and debris around We headed to Nick’s. Jackie told me they were closed earlier, and sure enough, they were closed when we went also. Power failure.
This morning a little after 4 a.m., I noticed it suddenly got very dark. Got up and looked around and sure enough our whole area lost power. The only thing that shone in the backyard was mo blower light! But we had power back around 7 a.m. More storm surges tomorrow. Stay tuned!
Happened to us too, 4-7. They were repairing a substation.

They did confirm an EF-1 tornado tore through the village of Eburg yesterday. There is some gnarly damage all through there.

Power on in my neck of the woods & at Crestview too. My E-burg reporter said they’re still out this morning. Looks like it got pretty windy over by by Martins too, this pic is from the plaza across the street where a sign blew down.

What a pic!! Sunny skies. Full house. And that flag!!! Play ball! ⚾️
The experience of walking into a major league ballpark is so magic – that moment you finally break away from the hoards of people around you as you all wend your way into the stadium. You finally make it to your seating entrance and— whoosh!— walk through to this spectacular sight. It sounds silly, but it really is breathtaking. The smell of the lush, cut green grass, the sound of balls hitting gloves as the payers warm up… it’s like when Dorothy opened the door of her house after the tornado stopped and stepped into the wonderful land of Oz.
Wonder what pranks zoz pulled today?
